Brampton, ON – Automann is pleased to announce the groundbreaking of its new state-of-the-art distribution center in Caledon, Ontario. Strategically located next to highway 410, 14km northwest of Automann’s current Brampton facility, the 333,363 sq. ft. (30,970 sq. m.) facility, on 14 acres will enhance service and distribution capabilities across the Canadian market.
Automann has served the Canadian heavy-duty market since the 1990s. The company opened its first 170,000 sq. ft. (15,793 sq. m.) distribution center in Brampton, Ontario in 2016, followed by a 115,000 sq. ft. (10,683 sq. m.) facility in Edmonton, Alberta in 2021. In 2022, Automann added a second 52,000 sq ft (4,830 sq. m.) facility in Brampton, ON for increased capacity. The new Caledon facility will consolidate the two existing Brampton locations to further enhance efficiency and capacity.
This facility is designed for efficiency and future growth, featuring 40-foot clear height, 27 dock doors, 3 drive-in doors, and EV charging for eight vehicles. To promote sustainability, the building is constructed to support future rooftop solar installation and incorporates high-efficiency fixtures and drought-tolerant landscaping to reduce overall water use.
