• Sr. Purchasing Associate – Technical, Master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering with 2 years of experience
• Conduct analysis in Excel, Tableau & SAP business objects to support procurement activities including spend analytics, budget analysis, bid analysis, etc
• Leverage analytics to identify consolidation opportunities, understand cost, analyze product/service specifications to identify rationalization opportunities, analyze demand and identify patterns and reduction opportunities
• Lead RFI (request for code) RFQ (request for information) /RFP (request for proposal) and strategic sourcing process
• Lead MBBP (Materials Best Business Practice) team for assigned categories driving best product, process and footprint
• Lead DC improvements including cross-docking, order handling automation, re-slotting, bar coding & warehouse management system
• Manage material cost/risk through methods including service/supply agreement negotiations, alternative sourcing projects, & kaizen initiatives
  Implement Just in Time (JIT) strategy to optimize output
